Biography:

Environmental Engineer with a PhD in Environmental Sciences. Since 2003 he has been carrying out research and project management activities in the CNR-IIA, where he began with a one-year work experience at the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of the Territory and the Sea on legislation relating to atmospheric pollution.

After a period working in a company engaged in environmental monitoring, he won a research grant at the CNR-IIA to carry out research and project management activities abroad, especially in China, where he lived for about three years.  He developed management skills even in international and complex environments such as China.

Since 2009, he come back in Italy and started managing the CNR-IIA Project Office, where he had the opportunity to win numerous national and European research projects. Since 2015 he has managed the bioenergy group active in various national projects and on consultancy for private companies on the issues of bioenergy and the circular economy.

In recent years, on behalf of the CNR-IIA, he has established numerous national and international collaborations with companies and research teams on the issues on which the Institute operates.
