The SMART CITIES ITALY Association (www.smartcitiesitaly.it) was set up to create a TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION CENTRE, to design the sustainable future of the territories, according to principles that characterise their autonomy, in every production sector, from food to communication.
The SMART CITIES ITALY Association therefore has the ambitious goal of becoming a Multifunctional, Multidisciplinary and Multi-company Pole, as a powerful ENGINE of DIGITAL INNOVATION for a new HUMANISTIC PROJECT, a CENTRE of COMPETENCE dedicated to Innovation, a PLACE that offers services and experimentation, also in synergy with complementary realities, both in Italy and abroad.
In carrying out the project, the SMART CITIES ITALY Association relies on the support of its Partner Members, who contribute their expertise to enrich its implementation and execution.
Present with us at the Fair are the company INGENERA, leader in the ENERGY and ENERGY TRANSITION sector, and the FANTASTIC DOLOMITES Foundation for ECO-SUSTAINABLE TOURISM and DIGITAL TRANSITION.
In order to set up this TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION CENTRE, we have adopted and are enabling operators of a development model: ALFASSA (www.alfassa.net), which aims to protect the environment and improve the quality of life of citizens through a fully interoperable (SHARE) and decentralised (MULTIPLY) Development System capable of:
- Transferring a set of integrated knowledge to relaunch the economic
development of the territory by economic development of the territory,
linking it to environmental and social sustainability.
- Bridging the technological gap in order to regain ownership of the data
and use data to enhance human beings and not to control them.
- Promoting cohesion and collaborative relations, creating virtuous
synergies between public bodies, professionals, entrepreneurs,
universities and schools, citizens.

ALFASSA represents the manifestation of intentions of a group of economic operators appropriately selected on the basis of certain requirements of reliability and complementarity, who have decided to mobilise to build a new global society, sustainable, peaceful and cooperative, in clear and declared opposition to the centralisation of power.
ALFASSA (www.alfassa.net) is a set of intangible assets that are spread throughout the world in the form of Intellectual Capital, consisting of:
- Human Capital, the integrated knowledge base of change committees
constantly for change that is constantly engaged in implementing and
the world a new model of development that is self-determining in terms
of self-determining environmental sustainability and social well-being;
- Relational Capital, a set of reliable interlocutors who participate
actively and proactively participate in the development of programmes
capable of programmes capable of inverting the macroeconomic
paradigm, without having predefined limits and boundaries and without
any intermediation.
- Organisational Capital, a fully interoperable Development System a fully
interoperable (SHARE) and decentralised (MULTIPLY) Development
System able to generate value through a holistic and quantum approach
to networks and of relationships and knowledge networks.
The ALFASSA development model considers the "economic" variable of sustainable development not as a value but as a means of creating value for people and the environment.
This model acts as a validation matrix for the entire production eco-system and has the capacity to link economic development to sustainable development, tying economic growth to environmental and social sustainability.
The dissemination and implementation of this development model passes through three macro-phases of time and design:
- Information Control.
This means equipping ourselves with tools and technological applications to help train the individual intellectually and morally in order to rebalance the biological relationship between competition and cooperation, i.e. to form a new awareness to forge a new collective consciousness. Our aim is to remove the focus from the tools of the neo-liberal oligarchy and replace them with other owners where people can freely exchange their thoughts without the risk of being commodified, deceived, or worse, censored.
- Economic development.
This means creating a virtuous synergy between professionals, entrepreneurs, accommodation facilities, and training institutions, to exchange goods and services within a cooperative credit circuit, and then implement a single real-time gross settlement system, i.e., payment platforms for the immediate processing of commercial transactions also through complementary currencies.
- Sustainable development.
We must create an intelligent infrastructure capable of generating synchronicities according to a principle of retro-casualty, i.e., guiding humanity to operate in harmony with nature, following long-term development programmes capable of reversing the macroeconomic paradigm.
In other words, we need to rebuild new production and distribution chains based on criteria of environmental sustainability and social welfare.
